Kauffman Garden

I hadn't been to Kauffman Garden for a couple months. Here are a few shots that I captured. It has been an extremely long winter in Kansas City. So much snow and cold weather. I know spring is around the corner but it can't come soon enough for me.

The conservatory was filled with gorgeous flowers. It always helps to visit and breath in the beauty of nature.

I was happy that Crazy hadn't forgotten me. She came running when I called her name:)

I haven't written in a while because recovering from surgery has been more difficult than I imagined.   I am still struggling, but hope the doctors can figure out how to help me.  Keep me in your prayers.

Hi Cat, what lovely photos. It's strange, you were in my thoughts recently, and I came to leave a message to ask how you were doing. I'm sorry to hear that recovery is more difficult than you expected - I think that's often the case - but I'm sending you healthy get well thoughts. It's also this time of year - it HAS been a long winter - but spring is in the air!

Be well. My best to your husband and his lovely mum, who's such a support to my own mother! xox

To Cat:

It was an especially long winter for lots of us this year, as you know. I am sorry to hear of its particular toll on you.

I hope you've found your Spring... and I hope it's absolutely filled with soul-lifting beauty to gaze upon in wonder & awe... eternally.
