Colors of fall

autumn reflection

My goal this last weekend was to capture the autumn leaves before they fall. It always happens so quickly. The first two photos are from Shawnee Mission Park and we just had our first freeze. The grass was frozen and so was I! The last photo is from Atchison, Kansas, the birthplace of Amelia Earhart. As it so happens, the movie Amelia, starring Hillary Swank and Richard Gere, opened this week. I can't wait to see it.

Love that last shot, the combination of the cloudy sky and the colorful trees is great!

I got a lot of fall shots this past weekend too, I love this time of year!

Cat: Love the photo of the park with the empty benches . . . waiting patiently to be filled.
Actually each pic pulled me in - truly beautiful.

What stunning photos! I miss the change in seasons - don't have that her in Orlando. The sky is extra beautiful in the autumn. It seems clearer and brighter than any other time of the year. Enjoy it all you can!

Your first photo is outstanding. I love the abstract quality of the reflection in the water. Well done!
