To my surprise, I am featured in the photographers of etsy blog. It is under today's posting in the "New Works" section. It is the first time that one of my photos have been included. Click on the link above to check it out.

Macro

I am having fun getting use to the macro lens that I just purchased. I have never used one before and I will need to read up on it. I'm still so spoiled with the point and shoot cameras that I need to educate myself on the dslr's. I did sign up for my first photography class for July. It is for 4 weeks and it will go over the basics. Let you know how is goes.

At the Art Show

Art in the Garden was so much fun. Because of the threat of rain, we were moved to a covered building and within a few hours the sun appeared. The weather turned out to be gorgeous! The jazz band was amazing and champagne was flowing. I loved meeting new people and talking with customers of mine throughout these last three years. Both my photography and jewelry sold well. One of my pearl bracelets will be given to a bride to wear with her Sari wedding dress. I was so touched. It truly was a wonderful day.

Getting ready to run out the door to Red Cedars for "Art in the Garden". It is cloudy with a chance of rain. Cross your fingers that the sun comes out! Wish me luck.

Etsy Treasury

What is an Etsy treasury? Here is what Etsy has to say about it: "The Treasury is an ever-changing, member-curated shopping gallery of handpicked items. Members can feature their favorite items, items selected on a theme or just whatever they like." A treasury can last between two and three days. The picture above is one of the treasuries that I was lucky enough to be featured in today. Thanks Heidi! She is the curator of this treasury and the jewelry designer from RedChair. Anniversary

At 11:00am it will be my 29th wedding anniversary. I can't believe that so many years have gone by since we took our vows. Happy anniversary honey! You are an amazing husband. I've always said I didn't marry a Cary Grant, I married a Jim Carrey! Your humor has enriched my life. Love you so much :)
