I am having fun getting use to the macro lens that I just purchased. I have never used one before and I will need to read up on it. I'm still so spoiled with the point and shoot cameras that I need to educate myself on the dslr's. I did sign up for my first photography class for July. It is for 4 weeks and it will go over the basics. Let you know how is goes.

oh i'm completely envious! I am tired of my 'old' digital camera and am currently on the hunt for a new fantangled one! will be very curious to see your 'new' work once you get sorted out with it :)

Love this photo, Cat! I'm viewing it on Mom's PC...the color is very rich.
It looks like the bug has eaten the yellow off of the pedal, leaving a little trail of white...the sparkly texture reminds me of cotton candy or "peeps"! Would never have gotten that close to notice it without your new lens! Fun!
